Saussurea involucrata Extract

S. involucrata is mainly distributed in China. The bioactive components found in S. involucrata, including flavones, phenylpropanoids, polysaccharides, lignans, and sesquiterpenoids, were linked to some bioactivities, including antioxidant, anti-UV, and anti-aging. It has been reported that the polysaccharides extracted from S. involucrata have strong anti-melanogenic properties and may have applications as a natural functional ingredient for skin-whitening in the cosmetics industry.
